We continue the construction sequence....... (Minnie-2)

To fully understand what is depicted here you may need to refer back to the model description.

Drill & slip the battery box (Radio Shack experimenters box) on the tube to check fit.   Note:  If you cannot find the Radio Shack box,   a reasonable substitute can be fashioned from a 4 ounce (or larger) model fuel tank.
Top view of the assembled stabilizer.   Note: the carbon fiber strips at the chord balance line  /  fin slope joint.
Close-up view of the stabilizer joint.
A view of the stabilizer bottom.     Note: the CF strip extends longer on the bottom.     This is an option for the builder.
Another view of the fuselage & tail parts.
Tail feathers mounted.
Front quarter view of most parts assembled,  except for the rotor system.
Tail mounted and the aft end of the fuselage tube is ready to be trimmed off.
This is what the dis-assembled gyro looks like for packing in a small box,   or a suitcase.    Note: one of the primary purposes of this model design was to have a good flying model that can be transported easily via airlines or whatever.
