Model Autogyros Flown: Whopper, Gyrace, FA-61, Al's Autogiro, deBolt's "Autogiro", Whistler, Kombat Kopter, and personally designed Pitcairn "PA-22", Cierva "C.4", Kellett "YG-1B", and a sucessful electric ducted fan gyro.
The model autogyros unsuccessfully flown (crashed) includes many of the above plus a list far too long to mention here! <G>
Built model airplanes as a kid. Flew control line in 1960's and began radio control in 1974. Flew competition pattern, scale, and sailplanes; then r/c helicopters. Nearly 10 years ago got bit bad by the gyro bug and have never looked back!
Hosted both the 1995 and 1996 Phoenix Autogyro Research Trials. Primarily interested in designing sport-scale r/c model autogyros, and is the owner of Autogyro Company of Arizona.
