Retired from the 3M company, Bill is one of the original 4 gyromodelers that started the present surge in autogyro modeling interest nationwide.    Bill has flown John Kallends Whistler,  a free flight model called the "Windmill",  a version of Gene Armbruster`s "Mixmaster",   A sport scale Cierva C.4,  and his own design... a twin rotor gyro conversion of "Prairie Bird" which he calls the "Prairie Gyro" ....
