"TWIST"

Jim Baxter`s (newly redesigned) .061 powered dc gyro...
Note: This model has been slightly redesigned into the new 1999 version shown here, versus the original 1998 model..
Plans have been completed and are now available. This new model will accommodate motors ranging from .061 to .10 in size, and has options for different rotor hubs.
The Twist is small, light (17 ounces), hand launched, direct servo controlled, and can be powered by a .061 to .10 sized engine. The one pictured here sports a Cox .074 engine, turning a 7 x 3.5 prop. With a 32" disk, it has a
great 3.0 low disk loading. The model can be easily adapted, during the building process, to be powered by
most .061 to .10 engines. This particular model you see here has undergone an engine change to an
MP Jet .061 and has more than adequate power... In fact, unless you live at over 3,000 feet of altitude, I `d recommend the MP Jet .061 over the others.
This is an easy to build and fly model and -does not- require machining of any parts.
