Jim Baxter`s modified Kombat Kopter.... left front close... The original model suffers from a total lack of downthrust, which contributed to the tendency for the model to fly very nose high...  Here you can see the plate modification to the front engine mount bars to hold an eight (8) degree downthrust.   Emery Wayman found that twelve (12) degrees downthrust worked very well for him, Jim settled on just eight (8) and hopes this will be sufficient...
