"SUITCASE MINNIE" .....an upgraded version of the successful "MINNIE", now called "Suitcase Minnie"... designed, built, and flown by Jim Baxter.
The new model incorporates a slightly re-designed fuselage body, and a new four bladed rotor hub utilizing a
polypropylene disk for hinging. The photo in the center shows this model
completely disassembled for ease of packing into a standard suitcase for transport.
Virtually identical to the original MINNIE, this version has a rotor of 33 1/2", weighs 30 ounces, is powered by a Thunder Tiger .15 engine turning a Master Airscrew 8 x 4 prop. This model is controlled by a fully tilting rotor controlled directly by two micro servos.
