Steve Tillson`s Original C.4.......

Cierva C.4 - Steve Tillson's prototype R/C model of 1925 Cierva C4. Has laterally tilting head for roll control. Uses OS .40 FP, throttle, rudder, elevator and lateral tilt. Weighs just over 4 pounds. Has considerable flight experience, demonstrating simplicity of 3-bladed, flapping head with ability to make "0" ground-run landings in no wind conditions.

This is the original non-scale prototype used only as an experimental test bed for wingless, lateral control testing. Although this model has over 75 flights, there are no plans available for this particular model.   See the new, sport-scale Cierva, "C.4".
