Carl's model has a 32+" rotor with 4" wide blades...   is powered with a Speed 300 motor and a 600-1000 Mah battery pack.

Carl says this model has about 100 flights and is quite sturdy, having suvived a few "hard" landings.    A photo in the October 2000 issue of MicroFlight magazine by Georges Chaulet,  showing the wide blades,  is what generated the idea for the wide blades.

Carl states flight times of 6 to 9 minutes, which is outstanding for an electric Autogyro...   These are fresh in-flight photos Carl has submited, courtesy of his cameraman/friend Joe La Plante
